• Includes all medications, monitoring and hospitalization relevant to the surgery
• Surgery (does not include unexpected complications that require a boarded surgeon/IM/ICU + critcialist, or unexpected complications ie. dehiscence)
• Anesthetic
• Technician monitoring (doppler, cardiac, CO2 etc)
• Analgesia (ie/ hydro, methadone, fentanyl CRI or combination therapy)
• Post-op recovery, up to 48 hours
• Oral meds to go home
• PCV’s, BG’s, as needed
• Intra-op x-rays as needed (ie/ cystotomy)
• Euthanasia and communal cremation (if owners opt not to proceed given findings intra-op or complications intra-op or post-op (ie/ septic abdomen)

We perform surgeries similar to your family veterinarian. Many of these procedures are done by general practitioners during the day, but we're also staffed 24/7 to care for our medically ill patients. While we handle regular surgeries, we don't perform complex procedures requiring specialized surgeons, anesthesiologists, or critical care. These cases need extensive training and specialized equipment, such as CT scanners and ventilators.
